What we believe
One God
We believe in One, self revealed, God who has always existed and always will exist. God exists as three persons (The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). God Created everything and continues to sustain all of creation. God is separate from his creation, but chooses to be involved with it by paying the price for our sins (through the Death and Resurrection of The Son) and as our Personal Guide (through the form of the Holy Spirit). God desires to have a personal relationship with us and has a plan for us.
The Bible
The Bible is the Word of God, everything in it was inspired by God, it is without error and is completely reliable and authentic. The Word of God is our supreme authority for morality, the truths and promises of God, and instruction on how we need to live our lives to be within God's will. Through the Bible and the Holy Spirit we gain insight into the true character of God and come to know him better.
Jesus Christ
Fully God, perfect in humanity; Virgin-born and sinless in life; Self-giving and God-forsaken in death; assuming our guilt, affording us forgiveness with God; triumphant over death in bodily resurrection, setting us free from the penalty of sin; healing our estrangement from God, others and self; ascending to the Father, acclaimed Lord of all, coming again to earth in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
Revealing sin, re-creating sinners by restoring the divine image to all who renounce sin and receive the Sin Bearer, Jesus Christ; renewing believers in holiness, guiding into all truth; our guarantee of abundant life in Christ, now and forever.
Man
Created in the image of God, endowed with infinite personal worth; deprived of divine splendor through unbelief and disobedience; incapable of reclaiming his lost relationship with God; restorable only by divine grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ.
The Church
God's covenant-community of worship and witness, called out of self and sin into Christ and righteousness; celebrating His love, committed to His Lordship in all things; communicating His Life to all mankind; cultivating the spiritual unity of all followers of His Way.
Life After Death
Each soul is eternal, accountable to God for all one is and does; all found in Christ destined to enjoy life with God forever in Heaven; all not found in Christ self-doomed to exile from God forever in Hell.
